Lots of boring riding from Denver to my campground right outside Hays, Kansas. I tried to stay off the interstate, but after going 120 miles without seeing a gas station or a diner I decided that might not be a great idea in the middle of nowhere. Set up camp by the Cedar Bluff Reservoir and popped into Hays at the Lb. Brewery for dinner and beer. There was actually some interesting riding on the way in, the Kansas sunset fills 360° of the horizon, and I had to stop several times for deer in the road. My camping neighbors offered me to come have a beer with them, and by that they meant drink liquor straight from the bottle.
