Lot's of boring interstate driving to Mount Rushmore. About the only interesting thing was going over Crazy Woman Creek. Also a Billings police officer tagged me with his radar gun going 80 in a 65 and jovially waved to me as I sped by.
I checked out Mount Rushmore with my neighbors from my campsite. It is pretty cool to see the finished product after watching a video of how it was carved. They did 90% of the carving with dynamite, and finished the details; with a power tool that's kind of like a power sander with a rougher surface.
